UC Berkeley's: Negotiations
The Art of Working With People To Get Things Done
"The UC Berkeley Center for Executive Development's negotiations course is well structured and engaging. The entire program is relevant and very well thought through, and the active role playing was very helpful in learning how to negotiate with more structure."
Chris Talbot, Senior Director, Strategic Licensing Group
The UC Berkeley Center for Executive Development Negotiations training course will provide you the skills you need to develop the network of high-productivity relationships critical to success in your job. You will learn negotiation strategies for getting results with difficult people, with cooperative people, with your partners and colleagues, and with customers and suppliers.
You will learn key negotiation skills and then put them into practice through five in-class negotiation exercises. You will receive feedback on your negotiated outcomes in debrief sessions—enabling you to improve your skills throughout the two day course. Lastly, you will be provided with two self-assessment tools that we will complete in class. These tools will help you understand and work with your innate negotiation style and personality and to understand how to negotiate effectively with others who are different.
